Spending some time looking around locally again we popped down to Dartmouth early in December (2016) and early in the morning. There was a hard frost along the roads on the way down there however it warmed up quite a bit the closer we got. When we arrived we realised it was one of those magical mornings. At times probably fog and at times something more like mist, the scene looking down (& across) the estuary at Dartmouth varied and the mist rolled in and back again. Sometimes the visibility was really restricted and at others you could see quite well.
We wandered Dartmouth’s shops (& cafes!) for a while however we kept coming back to the river’s edge to look at the view again. I do hope the images above, taken over a period of a couple of hours, speak for themselves. A lovely day and good to get out. Hopefully there will be more opportunities locally over the course of this winter.
